Bon Voyage card – One of Nature’s Great Travellers

This ‘Bon Voyage’ card is the perfect card to send to a traveller heading off on a great adventure. This sweet card features drawings and notes about nature’s greatest travellers – birds that migrate mind-blowing distances at amazing speeds – such as the Alpine Swift and the Arctic Tern. It has the words ‘Bon Voyage’ stencilled on the front, and states that the recipient joins the birds as ‘one of nature’s great travellers’. This card is ideal for a nature lover as they head off on a trip of a lifetime. I designed it for my sister before she left for a month-long adventure in Vancouver. The card is blank inside for your own message. It is printed on lovely quality card, and comes with a nice white envelope. Size: The folded card is A6 size: 150mm x 105mm ABOUT THE CARDS All the cards are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK. They are printed on FSC approved card stock which means that it is sourced from sustainable mixed forests. The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other. I love that when someone sends a card they are letting that person know they are valued. I like to imagine posties collecting and delivering the cards, and the journey the cards make by van and air and foot, landing on someone’s front door mat and making that person’s day.
