I just had a Nova 2 tower installed. I was seeking a stove to fit in the same location as my previous stove, which was installed close to the wall. And, I needed contemporary styling to fit my cabin decor. The Nova 2 knocks it out of the park. With a wall heat shield, as described in the owner’s manual, the stove can be installed 8” from a flammable wall. I lit a medium sized, top down, fire yesterday to cure the paint. The fire ran unattended for 6 hours and burnt all the wood to fine ash. What an improvement over my previous stove! Just what I was hoping for! Please note that the Nova 2 Tower has a different aspect ratio (height:width) than the pictures suggest. To get a complete understanding of what it looks like, I recommend drawing the stove on top of the tower, all to scale. The stove is taller than the tower. I was surprised to see that, but it wasn’t a show stopper. MF Fire was immediately responsive to answering questions and they helped me find a local stove vendor. Super, super, happy!
